I just completed the procedure in your December 1995 issue for setting up Japanese Windows 95 on the same machine as English Windows 95. I'm happy to say that all went well. Thanks. After a little puttering I even got my printer to work, despite the fact that there didn't seem to be the appropriate driver included.

Glad to hear it. But for easier ways to do the same thing (next time), see the Help Desk pages in our June, August, and November 1996 issues.-Ed.

Thanks for the precious information that Computing Japan offers us monthly. I'm very glad being a subscriber of your magazine, which I've read since the premiere issue.

Good job on your informative English-language computer magazine. Though many of the articles seem to be geared toward computer experts and companies, your articles on new software and other computer ware are extremely helpful and enjoyable for even those of us who just enjoy fiddling with the new and mysterious.

I really enjoy your informative magazine and look forward to receiving it each and every month. I would like to suggest a topic that would make an interesting article: packaged software distribution.

Matthew Arney

I hope you've seen "Japanese's Changing Software Distribution Industry" in the February issue (page 18) by now. The past year certainly saw some major changes in Japan's packaged software distribution channels (e.g., Software Japan's sale to Catena, and Seiwa Systems' bankruptcy), and the advent of Internet-based software distribution promises to bring even more uncertainty to the market.-Ed.

I was pleased to discover your magazine as I was traveling on a Cathay Pacific flight recently. I would like to commend you on the high quality of your articles.

Great article on RSA encryption in the December issue of Computing Japan. However, Prof. Rivest was mentioned as a founder of RSA and "former MIT professor." He joined MIT way back when and, as far as I know, he is still a faculty member.
