Minoru Matsutani (Tech Talk) most recently wrote about technology for Bloomberg News, covering such major corporations as Toshiba, NEC, Fujitsu, Hitachi, Canon, Tokyo Electron, Advantest, Mitsubishi Electric and others. He hails from Osaka but received his education in the US, taking a BA in journalism from Franklin College in Indiana and an MA in Economics from Temple University. He now lives with his wife and two children in Kawasaki City.

Lucille Craft (A Hollow Hokkaido) is a Tokyo-based producer and reporter for "The Nightly Business Report" on PBS TV. Her writing and reporting on Japanese and Asian business, politics, society and culture have appeared in the Asian Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post and other publications, and she can be heard on National Public Radio and Public Radio International. She is the founder of the Kuril Island Network (www.kurilnature.org), a nature conservation group.

Dominic Al-Badri (Suntory's World-Class Malts) is the editor of Kansai Time Out magazine and a regular contributor to Fodor's Japan and The Rough Guide to Japan. He has also written for Wired and New Media Creative. Dominic was born in the UK, but left when he was 19 days old and was raised in the Middle East. He graduated with a degree in Biochemistry from the University of London, moved to Japan in 1992 and settled in the Kansai area, where he enjoys listening to Sun Ra over breakfast.
