Terrie Lloyd gave insightful advice at the the Entrepreneur's Handbook seminar held on 4th February 2006. The seminar was fully booked well in advance making extra seating necessary. Terrie focused on how to set up a company in Japan, paying particular detail to ways of avoiding common pitfalls. From how to get finance, good salespeople and tax advice, to the different approaches to selling a company, Terrie tapped into his depth of experience to highlight what's needed to make it here in Japan.

Terrie explained how foreigners in Japan can make the most of their foreign citizen status with the philosophy of creating a company with the purpose of either taking it to IPO or exiting through an M&A maneuver. Budding entrepreneurs attending the seminar fired questions to Terrie thick and fast, and a general eagerness to learn was felt all round. We are planning to hold the next seminar in May. Please keep watch this space for more details.
